Once you have received our health checks, you may have taken the next step and implemented some of our recommendations.
Hopefully by this point, you will have started to realise some of the benefits that the ITIL process offer and are considering how to keep the momentum going. You may have specific issues with your supplier base or continue to have system failures that take up a significant amount of your time, preventing you from going about your day to day business.
goitil is currently investigating the opportunity of offering small businesses a permanent "Service Delivery Manager" to focus on just such issues. The aim is to have a full time Service Delivery Manager who is apportioned across a number of companies. Each customer would buy a "time slice" of this person with the aim of carrying out a mixture of standard tasks and other roles specific to your business.
The standard tasks will include:
- ongoing management and review of your IT suppliers (Service Level Manager)
- a single point of contact for the management and co-ordination of all major IT system failures (Problem Manager)
- a single point of contact for the management of all of your IT system changes (Change Manager)
- proactive planning of your IT strategy
Other tasks may include
- commencement of asset & license awareness
- capacity planning for your future business requirements
- development of your IT budget
We expect day rates to commence at £350 per day with a minimum contract of 18 months (based on 4 days per month).
