goitil was born out of a simple ideal.........

"Why should only the big companies get all of the toys?"

Two brothers, one an IT Service Delivery Manager and the other who had recently bought his own accountancy practice were discussing how it's IT equipment was managed and supported. It became evident that as with a lot of smaller organisation's, the management of IT services did not go past rudimentary support contracts or "knowing a guy who can fix it".

Almost every company is now dependent on computers for some reason. It could be non critical (but necessary) services such as word processing or E-mail. We then move onto the more critical services such as electronic ordering systems or credit card authorisation's, not forgetting critical data that could serious impact your business if it ever became corrupted.

For many years large organisation's have had Service Delivery Managers, Change Managers and Problem Managers keeping a watching eye on their systems, whilst smaller companies have remained oblivious to the great benefits that a few well chosen disciplines can bring to their organisation.

goitil was set up to allow such organisation's to dip their toe into the world of "IT Service Management" without the risk of large costs or hiring the wrong person.

All of our senior consultants are qualified to ITIL Managers Certificate and have at least 3 year's operation experience in a range of ITIL disciplines. Our junior consultants are qualified to ITIL Foundation and tend to specialise in specific areas.

To back up our commitment to you we have also developed "Our charter", a simple set of principles to help you want to choose us and feel comfortable with your investment. As we are in our early year's of trading we want to impress as well as developing and continuing to improve our offering.
